Website Design Case Study - Bar West One


Client Profile

Bar West One in Brentwood Essex is a function and party venue, in additional to it's lunchtime wine bar trade. Bar West One has an enviable reputation for for helping people enjoy themselves.

Requirements

Staff at the bar had found that they where spending a considerable amount of time answering telephone enquiries and providing general information, menus etc over the phone. It was decided to have a website that could reduce these calls.



Solution

We designed a simple, easy to navigate web site complete with downloadable booking form and printable menus. We set out a clear visual identity for the bar, including a logo and colour scheme. Secondly we developed the website so it could be updated by the client using Macromedia Contribute software, ensuring the website is kept up to date easily and efficiently.

Results

At part of the new website, we included a gallery page so people who had attended a party could go the the website to view photos from the night. This has the added benefit of increasing the Bar's profile in the local community and promoting the venue. This has resulted in increased repeat business.
